Functions
ESTABLISHMENT BRANCH:-
- Processing and countersigning of Performance Evaluation reports officers of Divisional/District Administration as well as Commissioner Office’s staff.
- Maintenance/keeping of charge relinquish/charge assumption reports of officers of Divisional/District Administration.
- Conducting of inquiries against the officers/officials.
- Posting/transfer of Naib Tehsildar within the Division.
- Nomination of officers for various courses/trainings arranged by the Provincial/Federal Government.
- Circulation of tentative/final Seniority Lists of PMS Officers (BPS-17 & above) issued by Establishment Department.
- Circulation of tentative/final Seniority Lists of Naib Tehsildar/Tehsildar issued by Board of Revenue.
- Preparation of Seniority Lists of Kanungo’s at Divisional level.
REVENUE BRANCH:-
- Inspection of all the Revenue and General Administration matters at reasonable intervals.
- Proper use and care of Government property and equipment’s;
- General office management.
- Compliance with the rules of business, the Government instructions, standing orders and office Directives.
- Deal with the Land Revenue cases/matters of Government as well as individuals.
- Disposal of state Land cases.
- Disposal of Land Acquisition cases.
ACCOUNTS BRANCH:-
- Preparation of vouchers.
- Getting sanction of bills.
- Submission of bills alongwith sanction in the account office.
- Preparation of opening/closing of pay.
- Preparation of source Proforma pertains to salary, arrears, pension and further submission in the account office.
- Preparation of monthly expenditure state at the end of each month.
- Preparation of Budget estimates and revised estimates.
- Preparation of excess & surrender in the month of June.
- Preparation of all kind of contingent bills and further processing in the account office.
- Maintenance of stock Register and other registers related to accounts matter.
- Maintaining of service book and personal files of all employees of Commissioner’s office.
POLITICAL AND DEVELOPMENT BRANCH:-
- Monitoring of all developmental schemes at Divisional level in settle areas as well as newly merged Districts.
- Matters related to Security on Muharram ul Haram.
- Matters related to Security on General Elections.
- Matters related to Malki Lungi allowance in newly merged Districts.
- Matter related to Exit Control List (ECL).
- Overall Law and order situation of the Division.
- Security arrangements of visits of Chief Minister, Prime Minister, MNAs, MPAs, Secretaries, VIPs etc.
GENERAL BRANCH:-
- Matter related to Education Department.
- Matters related to Local Government, District Government, TMAs etc.
- Precautionary measures and Flood relief activities.
- Matters related to Health Department (Polio etc).
- Matters related to Food and Price control Lists.
- Arrangements of visits of Chief Ministers, Prime Minister, MNAs, MPAs, Secretaries etc.
